The construction of a modernised forest museum without distracting the existing geographic conditions and without affecting the environment is shaping here in Kulathupuzha. The whole project is expected Rs 9.85 crore. In the first phase, the government has approved Rs 4 crore for the museum.
The museum is close to the banks of Kallada river and Kuttivanam region adjacent to the firest range office Thiruvananthapuram.
The uniqueness of the project includes of trees, plants, birds and butterflies are made available under one roof. The Thiruvananthapuram forest development agency will monitor the functioning of the museum project which will serve jobs to many people.
