Actor Ashish Vidyarthi recently tied the knot with fashion entrepreneur Rupali Barua. The couple opted for a court marriage followed by an intimate reception to celebrate their special day. A photo from their wedding, where Ashish wore a white and gold mundu and Rupali donned a traditional Assamese white saree with a golden border, has been circulating on the internet.
Ashish Vidyarthi, known for his roles in popular films like Soldier, Ziddi, and Haseena Maan Jaayegi, as well as web series such as Pitchers S2, Rana Naidu, and Trial by Fire, expressed his joy at finding love again in life. In an interview with Times of India, he shared, “At this stage of my life, getting married to Rupali is an extraordinary feeling. We had a court marriage in the morning, followed by a get-together in the evening.”
Ashish Vidyarthi was previously married to Rajoshi Barua, who is the daughter of renowned actress Shakuntala Barua. The former couple has a son together.
When asked about his love story with Rupali Barua, Ashish Vidyarthi declined to provide any details. However, Rupali described him as a beautiful human being and a wonderful companion.
Ashish Vidyarthi is a highly accomplished actor and has been actively working in various film industries since 1991. He has received a National Award for his exceptional performance in the 1994 film Drohkaal. Some of his notable Hindi films include 1942: A Love Story, Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin, and Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.
