NSA astronaut Christina Koch marks a new history for the longest individual spaceflight by a woman, by overshadowing the history of 288 days hatched by former NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson in 2016-17.
Koch has more six weeks to return to Earth from the International Space Station. Stated space.com
Koch had earlier marked history in her stop aboard the orbital laboratory, 2019 October she was part of the first all-female spacewalk.
When Koch returns in February 2020, the team 61 flight engineer will have contributed more than 300 days in space.
