Christmas energy now goes creative

Here are some stories of people who celebrate Christmas not just with the usual Christmas cradle, singing choirs and wine.

A 13-year-old Manav Dev hobby of philately is collecting stamps that themed on Christmas. Manav Dev 8th student of Lions School in Palakkad has a collection of Christmas stamps that are of half a century old. The oldest stamp os the Christmas stamp with a picture of crib published by New Zealand in 1968. Manav stamp collection is from Britain, Canada, Australia, Antigua, Philippines, Ghana, Bermuda to name a few. Most stamps contain pictures of Infant Jesus, Santa Claus, Jesus family, Angels and Shepherds.

Here is a creative effort by the staffs of the Pollution Control Board in Alappuzha under the mentorship of District Environment Engineer B Biju. They have made this beautiful Christmas tree from a pile of waste materials. Mostly materials from mosquitos breed, buckets, plastic bottles, coir, jute and paper were used.
