The first Arab space mission to Mars rose off aboard a rocket from Japan. There were a weather delay setbacks for the launch.
A live feed of the launch was aired carrying the unmanned probe, known as AI-Amal in Arabic, rose off from the Tangashima Space Centre in Southern Japan.

The Emirati project is one of the three racing to Mars, includes Tianwen-1 from China and Mars 2020 from the USA, utilising the advantage of the time when the Earth and Mars are closer.
