Sudoku’s godfather Maki Kazi died at the age 69

Sudoku’s godfather, Maki Kazi, has died. He was 69 years old. He died while undergoing treatment for cancer. Maki Kazi was the puzzle man who popularized Sudoku through Nicole Magazine.

Sudoku cells were the playground of the generation before the advent of smart phones and electronic games. The childhood and adolescence that awaited the dailies and weeklies that came with Sudoku cells will still be colorful memories for many today.
