Agra Woman Seeks Divorce Over Unfulfilled Kurkure Craving

In a peculiar marital dispute, a woman in Agra has sought divorce after her husband failed to bring home a packet of Kurkure, her favorite snack. The issue came to light when the distressed woman approached the Shahganj police, leading to the couple being sent for family counseling.

According to sources, the woman’s daily demand for Kurkure led to frequent arguments between the couple. The situation escalated when her husband forgot to buy the snack one day, prompting her to leave their home and stay with her parents. The couple, who had been married for just over a year, had their relationship strained over time due to what the husband described as an unusual craving for the snack.

This incident follows another recent case in Agra where a marital dispute over a saree resulted in a divorce petition, highlighting the unique and often trivial triggers for marital discord in the area.
