BAFTA awards 2016, full list of winners

British Academy of Film Television arts declared the much awaited BAFTA awards on Valentine’s day evening. Leonardo Dicaprio as predicted won the best actor in a leading role for his performance in the revenant. The revenant won every major award. Full list of winners are:

Best Actor: Leonardo Dicaprio, The revenant

Best Actress: Brie Larson, The room

Best Supporting Actor: Mark Rylance, Bridge of spies

Best Supporting Actress: Kate Winslet, Steve Jobs

Best Foreign Language Film: Wild Tales , Damian Szifron

Best Documentary: Amy, Asif Kapadia, James Gay Rees

Best Animated film: Inside out, Pete Docter

Best Original Screenplay: Spotlight, Tom McCarthy, Josh Singer

Best Adapted Screenplay: The Big Short,  Adam McKay, Charles Randolph

Best Cinematography: The Revenant, Emmanuel Lubezki

Best Costume Design: Mad Max Fury Road – Jenny Beavan

Best Production Design: Mad Max Fury Road, Colin Gibson, Lisa Thompson

Best Visual effects: Star Wars Force Awakens, Chris Corbould, Roger Guyett, PaulKavanagh, Neal Scanlan
