On Monday, Ram Charan released Bhale Bhale Banjara, a dance track from his upcoming film Acharya, in which he co-stars with his father Chiranjeevi. “For me, this is unquestionably a memorable song. “Words can’t express the joy and honour of dancing with my Appa, my #Acharya @KChiruTweets garu (sic),” he tweeted as he shared the song.

Shankar Mahadevan and Rahul Sipligunj sing the song, which was written by lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry. Mani Sharma composed the music for the film. The song is about two comrades’ friendship and their shared responsibility to protect the forests’ lives, resources, and people. Chiranjeevi had previously appeared alongside his son Ram Charan in the 2009 blockbuster Magadheera. He’d made a brief appearance in a song. In Acharya, however, the father-son duo will have full-fledged roles together.

Apart from Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, Kajal Aggarwal, Pooja Hegde, and Sonu Sood also star in Acharya. The film, directed by Koratala Siva, is set to hit theatres on April 29.

Ram Charan is currently enjoying the success of SS Rajamouli’s RRR, which he wrote and directed. The film received a massive response at the box office when it was released last month, grossing more than Rs 1000 crore from worldwide ticket sales.
