Champions League: Ronaldo saves United in the 95th minute; Barsa lost

Unexpected victory for Manchester United in the Champions League with the help of Cristiano Ronaldo who flew with the injury time goal to the memories of the glory days at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo’s appearance at Old Trafford in the last minute of injury time to secure a draw. United beat Villarreal by two goals to one in the match. Via Real took the lead in the 53rd minute through Pablo Alcazar, while Alex Telles and Ronaldo scored in injury time in the 60th minute.

This puts United in third place in Group F with three points, including a win from two games. Atlanta leads with four points from two games. The Young Boys with three points are second in favor of goal average with three points. Villa Real are in last place with a draw.

Meanwhile, Spanish powerhouse Barcelona are in last place after losing to Portuguese club Benfica in Group F. Italian giants Juventus beat defending champions Chelsea 1-0 in a Group H clash on Saturday. In the 46th minute, Frederico Chiesa of Italy scored the winning goal for UWE. UWE, who have won both their matches in Group H, are top with six points. Chelsea are second with three points. St. Petersburg are third with three points after beating a weakened Malmo FF by four goals to one.
