Che Guevara’s Daughter In Chennai To Attend CPM Events

The daughter of Cuban revolutionary Ernesto “Che” Guevara, Aleida Guevara, arrived in Chennai on Tuesday for a two-day visit to attend events hosted by the state chapter of the CPI (M).
The CPI(M) state secretary G Balakrishnan and senior leader G Ramakrishnan among others gave her a warm greeting at the airport.

Aleida, who landed in Chennai from Thiruvananthapuram, is expected to attend a party meeting on Tuesday and take part in a public reception on Wednesday, according to the CPI(M).DMK MP Kanimozhi and VCK founder and Lok Sabha member Thol Thirumavalavan will both be present at the public event. Estefania Guevara, Aleida’s daughter, will also be honoured at the celebration.
