Enfeebling all possibilities for the formation of a powerful anti-BJP alliance in the centre to contain the aggressive triumph of the saffron party, the Communist Party of India (Marxist), in its central committee meeting, has passed a draft political resolution, which insist the party and its present leader, who have been leading the party towards the centre stage, which have been created due to the negative impact of present politics, for last few years, to abstain from any kind of alliance with the Congress Party, which is the one and only party in the country that have capacity to stand against the rightists convincingly, with the support of at least fifty five central committee members against the objection of around thirty one central committee members.

While speaking to the media personals, the CPM national general secretary Sitaram Yechury, who has been visibly unhappy with the move, has claimed that it was not the final decision of the party.

It is learned that in the upcoming Party Congress this issue will be discussed in detail. The next party congress is scheduled to take place in Hyderabad in April this year.

As per the latest report, there will be no alliance with the congress in the crucial Tripura election, which is scheduled to take place before the 2018 Party Congress.
