Congress ready to accept Kanhaiya Kumar; Posters at the party headquarters

Posters welcoming Kanhaiya Kumar, former president of the JNU student union and CPI national executive member, to the Congress. The posters appeared at the Congress headquarters in Delhi amid rumours that Kanhaiya would join the Congress today.

Along with Kanhaiya, Gujarat Dalit leader Jignesh Mewani will also join the Congress. The two will be joining the Congress at the AICC headquarters in Delhi at 3 pm today, ANI news agency quoted party sources as saying.

Kanhaiya Kumar has spoken to Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi more than once about his position in the party. Kanhaiya Kumar, a CPI national executive member, was dissatisfied with the party. This is what drew him to Congress.
