DATES CAKE
INGREDIENTS:
Dates – ½ Kg
Milk – 2 cups
Sugar – ¾ cup
Maida Flour – 1 cup
Baking Soda – 1 teaspoon
Cashew Nuts – 2 tablespoon (chopped)
Raisins – 2 tablespoon
Vanilla essence – 1 teaspoon
Butter – ¼ cup
Oil – ¼ cup
Milk maid – ¼ cup
PREPARATION:
Soak dates in ¼ cup of milk. Blend this soaked dates in the blender as well. Keep it aside.
Preheat the oven at 220 degree Celsius.
Then take a large bowl. Add sugar, milk and oil into it. Mix well until the sugar completely dissolves.
Into this mixture, add dates paste. Stir well. Then add maida flour into it combine the mixture well. Lastly add chopped cashew nuts, raisins, baking soda, vanilla essence, butterand milk maid into it.
Combine all well.
Pour this mixture into the greased tray. Spread this mixture evenly. Garnish the top with cashew nuts. Bake at 180°C for 40 minutes.
Then take it out. And allow it cool and cut it into desired shapes.
Serve it.
