French President Macron Graces India’s 75th Republic Day Celebration, Strengthening Bilateral Ties

In a significant diplomatic move, French President Emmanuel Macron is set to touch down in Jaipur today as the chief guest for India’s 75th Republic Day celebration. Invited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Macron’s last-minute acceptance underscores the robust bilateral relations between the two nations.

President Macron’s schedule is packed with cultural and heritage engagements, showcasing the deep historical ties between France and India. The visit kicks off at 2:30 pm with his arrival at Jaipur airport, followed by a visit to the majestic Amer Fort at 3:15 pm. The French leader will then explore the astronomical wonders of Jantar Mantar at 5:30 pm and participate in a vibrant Shobha Yatra at 6:00 pm at the same venue.

The pink city’s iconic Hawa Mahal will be the next stop at 6:15 pm, providing President Macron with a glimpse of Rajasthan’s rich architectural heritage. A crucial meeting with Prime Minister Modi is scheduled for 7:15 pm at the luxurious Hotel Taj Rambagh Palace. The day concludes with President Macron emplaning for Delhi at 8:50 pm and arriving at Air Force Station Palam at 9:40 pm.
