H&M, Stella McCartney Launch ‘Insights Board’ to Drive Sustainable Fashion Dialogue

Swedish fashion retailer H&M has partnered with long-time collaborator Stella McCartney to establish a new ‘Insights Board’ aimed at advancing conversations around sustainability in the fashion industry. The board convened for its first in-person meeting in London, bringing together a diverse group of voices to explore innovative approaches and challenges shaping sustainable fashion.

The inaugural panel includes technologist and sustainability innovator Kiara Nirghin, model and global brand ambassador Amelia Gray, fashion editor Susie Lau, model and Gurls Talk founder Adwoa Aboah, and singer-activist Anitta. They are joined by McCartney and H&M’s internal experts, with fashion strategist Julie Gilhart moderating discussions.

During its first session, the board focused on key sustainability priorities, including the need for transparent, fact-based communication about materials and environmental impact. Members highlighted that clearer dialogue can help consumers identify genuine commitments while pushing the industry toward meaningful change. The Insights Board is expected to outline actionable strategies across themes such as innovation, circularity, and responsible production, reinforcing sustainability as a central pillar of the fashion sector.
