Indian American Medical Student Wins Miss India USA 2023!
The annual Miss India USA pageant, now in its 41st year, concluded with Rijul Maini, a dedicated medical student from Michigan, clinching the coveted title of Miss India USA 2023. The event, held in New Jersey, showcased the talents of 57 candidates from over 25 states, highlighting the diversity and vibrancy of Indian-American culture on a prestigious platform. Alongside Maini’s triumph, Saloni Rammohan of Pennsylvania secured the title of Miss Teen India USA, while Sneha Nambiar of Massachusetts was crowned Mrs India USA.
Maini, a model and aspiring surgeon, expressed her gratitude on Instagram, attributing her success to the unwavering support of her family, pageant directors, and close friends. In her post, the 24-year-old highlighted her appreciation for her mother’s meticulous curation of her stage outfits, acknowledging the stunning creations by @gauridesigns. She emphasized the significance of the empowering network of women she encountered throughout her journey in the pageant.
The winners of these prestigious categories—Miss India USA, Mrs India USA, and Miss Teen India USA—will further represent their titles on a global stage, as they receive complimentary air tickets to participate in the Miss-Mrs-Teen India Worldwide pageants. The pageant, founded by Dharmatma and Neelam Saran under the Worldwide Pageants umbrella, continues to serve as a prominent platform for celebrating Indian-American talent and fostering inspiration among women worldwide.
