Lucknow Lulu mall namaz video out; Hindutva organizations with a call to boycott the mall

It is alleged that some people offered namaz at Lucknow Lulu mall at the inauguration the other day. After the video of Namaz came out, Hindutva organizations protested.

A video of some people praying inside the shopping mall has come out. The video is said to have been taken on July 12. Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha protested against offering namaz inside the mall. The organization also demanded that Hindus should boycott the mall.

Shishir Chaturvedi, national spokesperson of the Hindu Mahasabha, said that this video proves that the government order was violated at the mall. The government has suggested that namaz should not be offered in public places. Chaturvedi said that he would request Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath not to repeat such incidents. The Hindu organization also lodged a written complaint with the Lucknow police against Lulu Mall.

The mall was inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday, July 10. 300 retail shops spread over 11 floors spread over 2.2 million square feet with huge amenities. One lakh people visited the mall on Wednesday alone.
