Mangaluru shootout: police shoot at criminal
A criminal, against whom at least eight criminal cases are pending, has been short at by the Mangaluru police, when the criminal has tried to attack the police officials who have reached the criminal’s hideout to arrest him in connection with the cases.
A police officer has also been injured during the fire exchange.
Both the criminal and the police officer have been admitted in a private hospital.
The criminal is said to have attacked the driver of a vehicle carrying fruits recently.
As per a media report, the search operation for the criminal has actually been launched due to this case.
Apart from this case, at least seven more criminal cases of similar nature are pending against the criminal.
