“No Frustration With Rahul Gandhi, I’m Hardly His Equal”: Prashant Kishor

Prashant Kishor, who today announced his Mission Bihar but no political party, as had been widely speculated, dodged a question about whether his talks with the Congress were over or merely on hold. The election strategist also stated that he was too small a fish for Rahul Gandhi to have any trust issues.

“With Rahul Gandhi, there is no frustration. Rahul Gandhi is a massive figure. What problem could I possibly have with someone as powerful as Rahul Gandhi as a man from a common family? Prashant Kishor stated, “I have no problem with him.”

“He dialled my number and spoke to me. I can’t talk to him unless he calls and says he doesn’t want to talk to me. Between equals, there is a trust deficit. He continued, “I am hardly Rahul Gandhi’s equal.”

The remarks appeared to confirm the Congress leader’s refusal to meet with Prashant Kishor during the second round of talks between the Gandhis and the strategist.

According to Congress sources, Rahul Gandhi was sceptical of the talks and knew Prashant Kishor would not join the party “from the beginning.”

Was the failure of his talks with Congress the start of the end or just a pause? “It’s not a question of beginning or ending. It was admirable of them to listen to me and allow me to express my thoughts on what the party should do. It is up to them whether or not they want to follow my advice. Prashant Kishor is not required in Congress. “There are many people in Congress who know more, are more capable, and have more experience than Prashant Kishor,” the strategist said.

He claimed that his “minor” disagreement with the Congress was over the Empowered Action Group, which he claimed had no legal standing in the party’s constitution and would eventually lose its authority.

Mr. Kishor also addressed questions about his apparent refusal to meet with Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar. He stood up the Chief Minister on Sunday, who went on a surprise “road inspection” after learning that PK would not be arriving.

“I was supposed to meet him, but I was unable to do so.” I became stuck at work. If he calls me tomorrow, I will go, obviously. But I have a great relationship with Nitish Kumar,” he said, adding that he treated him like a son.
