‘Pegasus controversy is baseless’; Centre’s gives affidavit in the Supreme Court dismissing the allegations

The Central Government has given an affidavit in the Supreme Court dismissing the allegations in the Pegasus phone leak case. The Center also informed the Supreme Court that an expert committee would be formed. The affidavit also said that some vested interests were trying to spread misconceptions.

The government has given a two-page affidavit while the case is being considered by the Supreme Court. The Central Government has rejected all the revelations made so far on the Pegasus issue. The affidavit reiterates the arguments raised by the government in both houses of Parliament on the issue. The Pegasus controversy is a baseless allegation.However, the government told the court that an expert committee would be formed to look into the matter.

Today, the court said that the Pegasus case could be considered as the 21st case in the latest case. Ten petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court seeking an inquiry into the Pegasus case.
