Priyanka Chopra spends time with her family at Lake Tahoe and shares a new photo of the “adorable” newborn Malti Marie

Early on Friday, Priyanka Chopra released a fresh image of her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Pictures of the child have already been shown to Priyanka’s mother, after whom she is called, and to her husband Nick Jonas. Priyanka has always taken care to conceal the baby’s face.

The new image had Priyanka and her friend standing with their infants on their laps in front of a breathtaking natural setting. They were perched on a log, with a river, clear skies, and big trees in the background. “22 years and counting.. and now with our babies.. love you,” Priyanka wrote as the description for the picture. She tagged her post with the words “best buddies,” “friends like family,” and “Godson.”

Many of Priyanka’s fans commented in the picture’s comments section on how ‘beautiful’ she looked and how ‘adorable’ the babies seemed to be. Additionally, she uploaded an Instagram Story that showed her and Nick having fun with her mother and other friends while spending the evening at Lake Tahoe.

Priyanka and Nick’s daughter was born via surrogate earlier this year. The couple announced her birth, and spoke about the health concerns that followed in a Mother’s Day post. “After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is,” a part of their joint statement read.

In an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Nick opened up about being a father. He said, “It’s pretty wild. She has got a little heart face. She is the best, it’s just been a magical season of our lives and also pretty wild. But it’s a blessing to have her home, and it’s wonderful.”
