Pune Porsche Case: CCTV Footage Reveals Teen Drinking Before Fatal Accident
The Pune Police Commissioner, Amitesh Kumar, revealed significant developments in the ongoing investigation of the Pune Porsche case, stating that the case does not solely rely on the blood report of the accused, Amitesh Kumar. According to Kumar, CCTV footage from a pub shows the 17-year-old accused consuming liquor, suggesting he was in his senses during the incident in which two individuals lost their lives. Kumar also addressed allegations of coercion, ordering an inquiry into claims that the driver initially took blame under pressure. However, he denied reports that the accused was fed pizza in the police station. The police are also investigating allegations of preferential treatment towards the teenager, whose bail was initially granted but later revoked amid national outcry.
The investigation has taken a serious turn with the arrest of the accused’s father and the owners of establishments that served alcohol to the teenager. The driver of the accused’s father asserted that he had informed the father about his son’s insistence on driving but was directed otherwise. These revelations shed light on the complexities surrounding the case, raising questions about accountability and responsibility in the tragic incident. The Commissioner’s actions underscore a commitment to thorough investigation and justice in the face of public scrutiny.
