Refractoty bricks are being loaded in Kalitta freighter at Cochin airport
CIAL Air Cargo handled 98505 kgs of “ALUMINA FUSED CAST REFRACTORY BRICKS” consignment to Mexio. The single consignment of Refractory Bricks was exported to Mexico on Friday by a special cargo Freighter from Cochin.
The shipment of 65 palletized pieces of Refractory Bricks from the KANJICODE (Palaghat) factory of SEPR Refractories India Ltd was transported to Nedubassery in trailers by the Chennai based leading Freight forwarder DSV Air & Sea Pvt. Ltd. Refractory bricks, which has very high heat resistance are used in making inner linings of heavy furnaces.
Special arrangements were made both at Customs and CIAL to receive and handle the cargo. The clearance work at Cochin was done by “M. S. J Exim” a W/Island based Cargo handling and clearing Agent.
The consignment was carried by KALITTA AIR, B 747 Jumbo freighter. Kalitta Air is a Michigan (USA) based Company owned Mr. Conrad Kalitta and is a leading provider of Air Cargo Transportation worldwide.
