Release of Siddharth Malhotra and Parneeti Chopra’s ‘Jabariya Jodi’ gets postponed
After the trailer release of ‘Jabariya Jodi’ starrer Siddharth Malhotra and Parneeti Chopra is getting immense love. The film basically evolves around the real life instance like groom-kidnapping, that has taken place in Bihar.
Initially, it was decided to hit the theaters on 2nd August 2019 but now the makers have decided to release the film on the upcoming week, that is on 9th August 2019.
The reason why the makers postponed the release date is that there are too many films releasing on 2nd August. Recently released ‘Judgemental Hai Kya’ is still running successfully in the theaters. To add to that, exhibitors came together and requested the makers to postpone the date to avoid the clash. The film depicts the unconventional practice of ‘Pakadwa Vivaah'(forced marriages) that is kidnapping an eligible bachelor and marrying off with a women without their interest.
The film will also get a holiday advantage of Bakri Eid on 12th August and Independence Day. The film is directed by Prashant Singh and is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and Shaailesh R Singh’s Karma Media and Entertainment.
