Rhea Chakraborty pays tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput on his death anniversary and shares never-before-seen photos: ‘Every day, I miss you.’
Sushant Singh Rajput, who died on June 14, 2020, will be remembered on Tuesday for the second time. Rhea Chakraborty, his girlfriend, uploaded old images of the two of them. She said on Instagram, “Miss you everyday…,” The duo look happy as they pose together in the images.
Shweta Singh Kirti, the late actor’s sister, turned to social media to express an emotional tribute to him, writing that he has become “immortal because of the values you stood for.”
“It has been 2 years since you left your mortal abode, Bhai, but you have become eternal because of the values you stood for,” Shweta wrote in her note. Your values were kindness, compassion, and love for all. You wanted to help so many people. In your honour, we will continue to model ourselves after your excellent characteristics and beliefs. “Bhai, you have improved the world and will continue to do so even if you are not here.”
Sushant’s fans were asked to light a lamp in his honour, according to Shweta. “Let us all light a lamp today and do something selfless to bring a smile to someone’s face,” she wrote. ‘Ghar se masjid hai bahut door, chalo yun kar lein, kisi rote hue bachche ko hasaya jaaye,’ she said at the end of her email, quoting Nida Fazli. ‘#ForeverSushant’ was the hashtag she used at the end of her caption.
Mukesh Chhabra, a casting director and filmmaker, also took to social media to share an old snapshot of the actor with a heart emoji. Mukesh directed Sushant’s last film as a starring man, Dil Bechara. The picture was released after his death.
Sanjana Sanghi, SSR’s Dil Bechara co-star, also posted a photo to her Instagram story with the caption, “We miss you.” Sushant died in Mumbai in the year 2020.
