Security Breach at Indian Parliament Leads to Suspension of Personnel and Arrest of Intruders

A major security breach unfolded inside the Indian Parliament on Wednesday, marking the 22nd anniversary of the 2001 Parliament terror attack. In a startling incident, two intruders managed to leap from the visitor’s gallery into the Lok Sabha chambers, causing chaos as they set off two canisters emitting yellow smoke. Amidst the commotion, one of the intruders made a daring dash towards the Speaker’s chair, leaping over tables in the process. Simultaneously, outside the Parliament, two others detonated similar red and yellow smoke bombs, adding to the alarming situation.

Following the breach, swift action was taken, resulting in the suspension of eight Lok Sabha personnel allegedly involved in the security lapse. Among those suspended were Rampal, Arvind, Vir Das, Ganesh, Anil, Pradeep, Vimitt, and Narendra. Additionally, law enforcement authorities swiftly apprehended the four intruders, identified as Sagar Sharma, D Manoranjan, Neelam Azad, and Amol Shinde. The gravity of the situation was underscored by the coordinated and calculated nature of the breach, sparking concerns about the effectiveness of Parliament’s security protocols.
