Shatrughan Sinha Dismisses Rumours, Confirms Attendance at Daughter Sonakshi Sinha’s Wedding

Veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha has firmly addressed rumours regarding his family’s presence at the upcoming wedding of his daughter, Sonakshi Sinha, to her boyfriend, Zaheer Iqbal. In an interview with Zoom, Sinha expressed his pride and support for his daughter, emphasizing that he will be present to bless the couple on their special day. Sinha refuted any claims of family tension, urging those spreading such rumours to “mind their own business.”

Sinha highlighted his role as Sonakshi’s “strongest pillar of strength,” stating that his continued presence in Mumbai underscores his commitment to his daughter’s happiness. He praised Sonakshi and Zaheer, calling them a “good-looking pair” and expressing his approval of their relationship. The veteran actor asserted his role as a protective figure, referring to himself as her “real kavach (armour).”

Concluding his remarks, Sinha used his signature dialogue to express his frustration with the rumours, saying, “Khamosh, it’s none of your business. Mind only your business.” The couple is expected to have a court marriage on June 23 under the Special Marriage Act, following the circulation of a viral wedding invite on social media. This marks the first positive public statement from a member of Sonakshi’s family regarding her wedding.
