Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor star as Veronica, Archie, and Betty in The Archies

The first look at Zoya Akhtar’s Bollywood adaptation of The Archies comics has arrived, and it is dripping with nostalgia. “Grab your picnic baskets and pick out your cutest outfits, we’re going to greet the Archie’s gang,” the makers wrote alongside the first poster, which featured Suhana Khan as Veronica, Khushi Kapoor as Betty, and Agastya Nanda as Archies. The cast of THE ARCHIES, a Zoya Akhtar film, is revealed. “The sun is out, the news is out!” the makers wrote in a teaser, introducing us to other characters from the film. Come meet your new acquaintances. “Introducing the cast of The Archies, directed by the incredible Zoya Akhtar.”

Archie Andrews and his gang, which includes Veronica, Betty, Jughead, and Reggie, have been immortalised in a number of film and cartoon adaptations. Archie Andrews first appeared in the Pep Comics and quickly rose to fame as a stand-alone character in popular culture. We’re excited to see what the series’ Indian adaptation has in store.

When it comes to the cast of the film, they all have perfect genes. Suhana Khan, the daughter of superstar Shah Rukh Khan and interior designer Gauri Khan, inherited her father’s love for acting. Shweta Bachchan Nanda and business tycoon Nikhil Nanda are the parents of Agastya. He is the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, two Bollywood legends. Khushi Kapoor is the daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, the late superstar and film producer. Janhvi Kapoor, her younger sister, has also appeared in Bollywood films.
