Sunrisers Hyderabad Sets IPL Record for Most Sixes in a Season Despite Loss to RCB

This milestone was reached during their latest match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Despite their commendable achievement, the Sunrisers faced a setback, losing the match with a score of 171 all out in their chase of RCB’s 206/7.
The record-setting performance comes in a season where the Sunrisers have displayed exceptional form, securing five victories from eight matches and ranking third on the points table. The team’s striking power has been highlighted by contributions from players such as Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, and Heinrich Klaasen, who have consistently dominated opposing bowlers with their aggressive batting style.
Royal Challengers Bangalore, led by Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli, who provided a strong start in the powerplay, managed to hold their ground despite a mid-innings slowdown. Contributions from lower down the order helped RCB post a challenging total. In contrast, Sunrisers Hyderabad struggled to build partnerships, ultimately falling short by 35 runs, marking their third defeat this season.
