This Is Why The Great Khali Joined The BJP

Wrestler Dalip Singh Rana, also known as The Great Khali, said on Monday that he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party almost three months ago after being “impressed” by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ideology.
Khali also told ANI that he is proud of his decision to join the BJP.

Khali made his comments after meeting with Union Minister Jitendra Singh at his Delhi office. “Dr. Jitendra Singh was the reason I came. Now I’m returning. I came to meet him because he, like me, is from a hilly region. It was merely a routine meeting, “Khali explained.

When asked about his decision to join the BJP, Khali said, “I am ecstatic to have joined the BJP. I joined the BJP after being impressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ideology.”

Khali met Singh almost three months after formally joining the BJP. Jitendra Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Arun Singh, and Lok Sabha MP Sunita Duggal were present when he joined the BJP in the second week of February.

Khali is well-known in the WWE Universe, having competed against professional wrestlers such as Batista, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, and Kane. The WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2021 inducted him.

“MacGruber,” “Get Smart,” and “The Longest Yard” are among the films in which the wrestler has appeared. He’s also opened a wrestling school to assist in the development of the next generation of wrestlers.

On the day of the first phase of polling in Uttar Pradesh, he was inducted into the BJP, which was preparing for elections in four other states in February and March: Manipur, Goa, Punjab, and Uttarakhand.
