True Religion Expands Eyewear Portfolio Through FGX International Partnership
Fashion and lifestyle brand True Religion has entered into a licensing partnership with FGX International, a company within EssilorLuxottica, to introduce a new collection of men’s and women’s sunglasses and optical eyewear. Under the agreement, FGX International will design, manufacture and distribute eyewear inspired by True Religion’s signature style and heritage, combining contemporary fashion with Y2K-inspired aesthetics.
The new collection features statement logos, tinted lenses, and bold gold-and-crystal embellishments, reflecting the brand’s distinctive identity. Kristen D’Arcy, Chief Marketing Officer at True Religion, said the partnership leverages EssilorLuxottica’s global retail network to strengthen the brand’s presence in the eyewear category while creating collections that remain true to its design DNA and support continued international growth.
The eyewear collection is now available at True Religion stores, through True Religion’s online store, and on Amazon, with wider distribution planned across North America and select markets in Latin America and Europe throughout 2026. Denna Singleton, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Portfolio Transformation at FGX International, described the collaboration as a natural fit, highlighting the combination of True Religion’s bold brand identity with FGX’s expertise in delivering accessible, trend-driven eyewear.
