YouTuber Gaurav Taneja Arrested After He Calls Fans At Noida Metro Station For Birthday

YouTuber Gaurav Taneja was detained in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, today after a large crowd of his fans came there to celebrate his birthday, according to ANI. Taneja, the owner of the “Flying Beast” YouTube channel, intended to spend his birthday at Noida’s Sector 51 Metro Station.

Taneja asked his Instagram followers to congregate near the metro station in a post he made yesterday. Thousands of people then descended upon Sector 51 Metro Station, causing a stampede. On Instagram, Gaurav Taneja has more than 3.3 million followers.

In light of the increasing number of Covid instances, Mr. Taneja was initially jailed for disobeying the prohibitory orders placed in Noida. He was subsequently detained by Noida police for disobeying a properly stated instruction by a public official.

Gaurav Taneja was trending on Twitter for several hours following his detention.

He thanked his fans for the birthday wishes in a late-night message on his social media accounts that included a photo of his family.

With millions of subscribers across his three YouTube channels—”Flying Beast,” “Fit Muscle TV,” and “Rasbhari Ke Papa,” where he posts fitness-related videos as well as his everyday life vlogs and live streams—Gaurav Taneja is currently one of the most well-known YouTubers in India.

Taneja, a civil engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, is presently studying law at Delhi University’s college of law.
