Controversy Erupts Between Mansoor Ali Khan and Trisha Krishnan in the Wake of Derogatory Remarks
A heated controversy has exploded within the entertainment industry following contentious remarks made by actor Mansoor Ali Khan towards his Leo co-star Trisha Krishnan. Khan found himself in the eye of the storm after a statement made during a press conference seemingly took an offensive turn. The comment, purportedly in jest, has led to an uproar, drawing severe condemnation from various quarters, including prominent personalities and fellow celebrities.
In his recent statement addressing the escalating situation, Mansoor Ali Khan vehemently defended his words, asserting that his intention was misinterpreted. He clarified that his comment, made during a press conference, was meant as a compliment towards Trisha. Khan likened Trisha’s treatment in the movie ‘Leo’ to the legendary strength of Hanuman, citing it as the basis for his comment. Despite his attempts to clarify and contextualize his words, the controversy continued to snowball.
Trisha Krishnan, deeply offended by Khan’s alleged remarks, took a decisive stand, declaring her decision never to collaborate with the actor again. She expressed her vehement disapproval of the comments, labeling them as sexist, disrespectful, and repulsive. Khan’s alleged comment, suggesting expectations of intimate scenes and referencing past roles, has sparked outrage and led to a firm stance against any future professional association with him.
The situation escalated further as renowned personalities, including Lokesh Kanagaraj, the director of ‘Leo,’ and singer Chinmayi Sripada, joined in condemning Mansoor Ali Khan’s alleged remarks. Additionally, Khushbu Sundar, a Bharatiya Janata Party leader and member of the National Commission for Women (NCW), pledged to take action against Khan. This controversy has cast a shadow over the recently released film ‘Leo,’ which brought together a stellar cast including Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, and Trisha Krishnan, marking a collaboration between Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj after their 2021 blockbuster ‘Master.’
