Carrera and Ducati Renew Eyewear Partnership Through 2027 MotoGP Seasons
Carrera and Ducati have announced the renewal of their successful collaboration, extending their partnership through the 2027 MotoGP seasons. As part of the renewed agreement, the Carrera x Ducati collection — a full line of sunglasses and optical frames — will continue to be available. The upcoming Spring/Summer 2025 collection draws design cues from Ducati’s high-performance Panigale V4 motorcycle and the signature aesthetics of the Borgo Panigale-based design team, featuring lightweight materials like carbon fiber and titanium, along with flexible elements such as Ultem and rubber.
According to Alberto Macciani, Chief Marketing Officer of Safilo Group and Global Head of Communication for OCB’s, the relationship goes beyond product collaborations: “We have built a great work team that has translated racetrack success into the eyewear sector.” Carrera will continue as the official eyewear partner of Ducati Corse for the 2025, 2026, and 2027 MotoGP seasons, with racing stars Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez set to front the 2025 campaign for the Carrera|Ducati collection.
Alessandro Cicognani, Ducati’s Director of Licensing and Corporate Sponsorships, emphasized the synergy between the two brands: “This collaboration aligns with our strategy to offer racing enthusiasts high-quality products that embody our brand’s values of design and performance.” He expressed satisfaction in renewing what he called a “successful partnership,” which has resulted in unique eyewear collections that resonate with consumers worldwide.
