Aaditya takes part in Bharat Jodo Yatra, marches along with Rahul in Maharashtra’s Hingoli

Aaditya Thackeray joined the Congress’ “Bharat Jodo Yatra” at Kalamnuri in Hingoli, where the march had arrived during the day from the neighbouring Nanded district, and walked alongside Rahul Gandhi. Thackeray is the leader of the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb).

Party associates Ambadas Danve, the opposition leader in the state Legislative Council, and former MLA Sachin Ahir joined Aaditya Thackeray.

Gandhi led the cross-country foot march, which is now in its 65th day, as they walked side by side. Aaditya Thackeray and the Kerala-based Congress MP waved to spectators gathered along the road.

In Seni village in Nanded’s Ardhapur taluka, flowers were showered on the participants before the march entered Hingoli district at Choramba Phata.

A big number of ladies and kids joined a group of onlookers in Hingoli who came to support the march, and they even brought an elephant.

22 former service members were among those who gathered along the march’s route to yell slogans in favour of the march and the implementation of “One Rank One Pension” (ORO).

Supriya Sule and Jitendra Awhad, two leaders of the Nationalist Congress Party, participated in the march on Thursday. Sharad Pawar, the head of the NCP, was invited to take part in the yatra but was unable to do so because of his health.

Uddhav Thackeray, the leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT), has also been invited to join the march on its Maharashtra leg.
