A$AP Rocky and Puma Unveil Futuristic 3D-Printed Mostro Mule
German sportswear company Puma has partnered with musician and designer A$AP Rocky to launch the Puma Mostro 3.D Mule, a bold new footwear design created using advanced 3D-printing technology. The futuristic mule silhouette first made its debut in February during the AWGE fashion show in New York, showcasing a radical reinterpretation of Puma’s iconic Mostro sneaker.
The new design arrives in a striking blue-and-red colorway and features distinctive spike-inspired details that emphasize its avant-garde aesthetic. Inspired by the legendary Puma Mostro, originally introduced in 1999 and named after the Italian word for “monster,” the shoe blends the brand’s heritage with cutting-edge manufacturing techniques. The release is further complemented by specially designed socks created as part of the collaborative collection.
Speaking about the project, A$AP Rocky said the original Mostro was already ahead of its time and that transforming it into a mule pushed the concept even further. He noted that while the design looked bold on the runway, Puma’s use of 3D printing elevated it to an entirely new level. The Puma Mostro 3.D Mule will be available online and through selected retailers beginning May 21, with a retail price of €250.
