Ajit Ravi Completes 100 Life Challenge with Salary Donation Spanning 100 Months
Ajit Ravi has successfully concluded his long-standing “100 Life Challenge,” a philanthropic mission in which he donated 80% of his 8-hour salary every month for 100 months. Launched in 2015 while employed at Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL), the initiative began with a focus on funding heart surgeries but soon grew to support a wide range of humanitarian needs including medical care, education, and daily essentials.
His journey wasn’t without setbacks. During a particularly difficult phase, Ajit went without any salary due to job-related challenges — yet he still made contributions equivalent to what he would have earned, never missing a single month. His perseverance through the COVID-19 pandemic and professional roadblocks makes this feat all the more remarkable.
Ajit’s vision was rooted in the philosophy of “Individual Social Responsibility (ISR),” a concept he introduced to inspire personal commitment to social good. “I hoped others would join me, but no one has accepted the challenge till now — and that’s painful,” he shared. His effort is a reminder that even silent acts of service can speak volumes.
