Basicnet Revenue Jumps 21.6% in First Nine Months on Woolrich and Sundek Acquisitions
Italian fashion group Basicnet reported a 21.6% increase in consolidated revenue to €369 million in the first nine months of 2026, compared with €303.4 million in the same period last year. The Turin-based company’s growth was driven partly by the addition of Woolrich and Sundek to its brand portfolio. The results were reviewed by the board of directors on October 21. Direct sales rose 29.6% to €327.4 million, supported by acquisitions, the consolidation of European retail operations and e-commerce expansion.
Global aggregate sales, including licensee revenues, increased 11.5% to €745 million. Europe, accounting for around 83% of total sales, recorded 13.9% growth, while the Americas experienced a 19% decline. However, profitability weakened, with EBITDA falling to €38 million from €39.8 million and EBIT dropping to €8.9 million from €23.4 million, reflecting integration costs, depreciation and amortisation. Net financial debt also increased, with the overall net financial position reaching a negative €273.8 million.
Basicnet plans to focus on integrating Woolrich and Sundek, developing operational and commercial synergies, and strengthening its direct presence across Europe. The company aims to maximise the potential of its expanded brand portfolio and gradually improve profitability amid ongoing economic and geopolitical uncertainties.
