Black balloons near PM’s helicopter in Andhra; Three Congressmen arrested

Black balloons near Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s helicopter as it took off from an airport in Andhra Pradesh. Balloons were spotted near Prime Minister Modi’s helicopter soon after it took off from Vijayawada’s Gannavaram airport. The national media reports that this is a security breach.

Andhra Police says that there was no security breach and two balloons rose 4.5 km from the airport. Some Congress leaders protested at the airport where PM Modi’s helicopter took off. They were holding black balloons and placards and chanting slogans targeting the Prime Minister.

The police found that the balloon was flown by four Congress workers. It is reported that three of them have been arrested by the police. The Congress leaders had given a statewide call against Prime Minister Modi by showing black balloons.

The Prime Minister reached Vijayawada in a special flight from Hyderabad and from there the Prime Minister reached Bhimavaram by helicopter. According to Andhra Police, three persons namely Sunkadara Padmashri, Parvathi and Kishore were arrested.
