Choreographer Jani Master Accused of Sexual Assault; FIR Registered

Renowned Telugu choreographer Jani Master, known for his work in films like *Baahubali* and *Pushpa: The Rise*, is facing serious allegations of sexual assault from a former colleague. The woman, who claims to have worked as his assistant, has accused Jani Master of repeatedly assaulting her over several years, beginning when she was a minor. The complainant approached the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, which advised her to file a police complaint as the case involves the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

Following her complaint, an FIR has been registered against Jani Master under charges of rape and criminal intimidation. The alleged incidents occurred during film shoots in different cities. The woman has also expressed fears for her safety, stating that the choreographer threatened her with career repercussions. The Telugu dance directors’ body, of which Jani Master is president, has been asked to suspend him from all duties.

Jani Master, a Pawan Kalyan-led Jana Sena Party member, has been instructed by the party to distance himself from its activities amid the ongoing investigation. The case is now under police scrutiny as the Telugu film industry awaits further developments.
