Cigarettes After Sex Announces 2025 India Tour: A Journey of Melancholic Soundscapes

American dream pop sensation Cigarettes After Sex is gearing up for a much-anticipated return to India with a thrilling three-city tour scheduled for early 2025. The band, renowned for its ethereal music blending dreamy soundscapes with poignant storytelling, captured the hearts of Indian audiences during their standout performance at Lollapalooza India 2023. Led by Greg Gonzalez, the band members, including Randall Miller on bass and Jacob Tomsky on drums, will grace Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru on January 24th, 25th, and 28th respectively.

Formed in 2008, Cigarettes After Sex has established a global fanbase drawn to their emotive tracks such as “Apocalypse,” “Sweet,” and “K.” The upcoming tour aims to introduce their latest album, *X’s*, featuring soul-stirring tracks like “Tejano Blue” and “Holding you, Holding me,” to their Indian followers. Gonzalez, the creative force behind the band, expressed his artistic vision, emphasizing his music’s themes of preservation, catharsis, and introspection. Gonzalez shared about the album: “It’s about romance, but it’s also about reflecting on who I was in those moments and how I navigated those emotions.”
