Depop and Spotify Join Forces to Blend Music and Secondhand Fashion
Depop and Spotify have announced an exclusive partnership that brings together music and secondhand fashion through a collaboration with six artists — Eve, Amira Elfeky, Estevie, Frost Children, House of Protection and Lily Meola.
The partnership launched Tuesday with an artist-curated Spotify playlist, followed by curated fashion edits on Depop on Wednesday. The collaboration aims to highlight the connection between artists’ musical influences and personal style, giving fans a closer look at the sounds and fashion that shape their creative identities.
The two brands will also host a two-day activation in Los Angeles beginning Thursday, featuring live performances and curated fashion edits. The campaign marks Depop’s first major marketing initiative since eBay completed its $1.4 billion cash acquisition of the secondhand fashion platform from Etsy in July.
