Dr. Hafeez Rahman to be Honored with 15th Manappuram MBA Award
The prestigious 15th Manappuram Multibillionaire Business Achiever (MBA) Award will be presented to Dr. Hafeez Rahman, Chairman of Sunrise Hospitals. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Le Meridien Hotel in Kochi on June 9th. Dr. Rahman will join the exclusive Federal International Chamber Forum (FICF), the world’s richest club, where members have a minimum asset of 1000 crores (Indian Rupees).

Dr. Hafeez Rahman, a globally renowned laparoscopic surgeon, began his career in 1992. He founded the Sunrise Group of Hospitals in 2005, which now has branches in both the UAE and India. Sunrise Hospital, a tertiary care multi-speciality hospital and prominent laparoscopic center in Kochi, is known for its community outreach programs in schools, villages, and civilian bodies, promoting preventive medicine and healthy lifestyles.
Previous recipients of the MBA Award include notable figures such as Shri V P Nandakumar, Shri Joy Alukkas, M A Yusuf Ali, Shri T S Kalyanaraman, Shri P. N. C.
