Givaudan Acquires Majority Stake in Eurofragance to Expand Global Fragrance Business

Swiss flavours and fragrances giant Givaudan has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Spanish fragrance company Eurofragance, marking a strategic move to strengthen its presence in the global fine fragrances market. The companies announced the deal on Friday, though financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition is expected to enhance Givaudan’s position in high-growth markets, particularly within the luxury and premium fragrance segments. On a pro forma basis, Eurofragance would have contributed approximately 185 million Swiss francs to Givaudan’s revenue in 2025. The Barcelona-headquartered company specializes in luxury perfumes as well as fragrances used in personal care and household products.

Founded in Spain, Eurofragance employs more than 600 people and has established a strong international footprint across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals before it can be finalized, according to the companies.
