Great success of ‘RRR’; Ram Charan donates 10 grams of gold coins to team members

SS Rajamouli’s RRR Movie is a much awaited movie by the South Indian film critics and his was due to the success of the cosmic film Bahubali. The film stars Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles and continues to garner critical acclaim. From the first day of its release, the film was a box office success. In this success, Ram Charan has come up with a love gift for the crew of the film.

Ramcharan handed over 10 gram gold coins worth Rs 18 lakh to the team. Ramcharan invited 35 film technicians to his home, including camera assistants, production managers, still photographers, production managers and accountants. All gold coins are marked RRR.

On March 25, RRR was released. ‘RRR’ is set to hit theaters worldwide on January 7. But as the number of Omicron cases increased, the decision was reversed as many states imposed stricter restrictions on social life. The film, directed by Rajamouli after the Bahubali franchise, is RRR’s largest USP. The RRR comes five years after the release of Bahubali 2. Starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, the film stars Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris. Also starring Samudra Kani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson and Shriya Sharan. Rajamouli himself wrote the script for the story by his father KV Vijayendra Prasad. The dialogues are prepared by Sai Madhav Bura.

RRR continues to make inroads at the global box office. The film grossed Rs 710 crore worldwide in its first week. The Hindi version of the film alone grossed Rs 132.59 crore in the first week in India. The Hindi version of RRR also bears its own name, the largest first week gross collection of a Hindi film after Covid. The Hindi version of RRR has surpassed all the recent Bollywood hits like Suryavanshi, The Kashmir Files, 83 and Gangubhai Kathiawadi.
