Hyderabad Man Dies During Smile Designing Surgery Ahead of Wedding

In a tragic incident in Hyderabad, a 28-year-old man, Laxmi Narayana Vinjam, lost his life during a cosmetic dental procedure intended to enhance his smile before his upcoming wedding. The unfortunate event occurred on February 16 at the FMS International Dental Clinic located in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The police have reported that Laxmi Narayana Vinjam was undergoing a ‘smile designing’ operation when he passed away under circumstances that have led his family to allege negligence on the part of the clinic.

According to Ramulu Vinjam, the father of the deceased, his son fainted during the surgery due to what he believes was an overdose of anesthesia administered by the clinic’s staff. The family was urgently called to the clinic following the incident, and Laxmi Narayana was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. However, he was declared dead on arrival by the hospital’s doctors. The family has stated that Laxmi Narayana had no pre-existing health issues and had not informed them about his decision to undergo the cosmetic procedure.

In response to the tragic loss, a case has been filed against the FMS International Dental Clinic for negligence following a complaint lodged by the victim’s family. Authorities are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the incident, which includes reviewing hospital records and security camera footage to determine the exact cause of death and to assess the allegations of an anesthesia overdose. The case has raised concerns about the safety protocols and practices in place for cosmetic medical procedures.
