“In Heat Of Moment”, Says Aaftab Poonawala In Court On Killing Girlfriend

Aaftab Poonawala was brought before the Saket court through video conferencing in a special hearing today, and the court increased his police detention to four further days. Today marked the end of his five-day confinement.

Shraddha Walkar’s live-in boyfriend Aaftab Ameen Poonawala, who is accused of killing her, admitted Wednesday in a Delhi court that he killed her “in the heat of the moment.” Additionally, he claimed that what is currently being reported about him is “not totally factual.”
Aaftab, 28, claimed he has been helping the authorities and has even provided maps showing where he placed the body parts.

Aaftab was also taken to the store where he had purchased the saw blade, which is located only 250 metres from his home.
