Jonathan Anderson’s Dior Debut Headlines Paris Men’s Fashion Week SS26
Paris Men’s Fashion Week kicks off on June 24 with a star-studded calendar, defying the reduced schedules seen in Milan and London. The SS26 edition brings together seventy houses through forty shows and thirty presentations, with an exceptional blend of heritage brands, emerging talent, and creative reinvention. A major highlight is the much-anticipated return of Saint Laurent to the official calendar, marking its first men’s collection since January 2023, and the comeback of British names like Wales Bonner and Craig Green.
All eyes are on Dior Homme’s show on June 27, where fashion prodigy Jonathan Anderson presents his debut menswear collection. Recently appointed as the artistic head of Dior’s women’s and haute couture lines as well, Anderson becomes the first designer since Christian Dior to hold all three titles. His move, following an acclaimed tenure at Loewe, is viewed as one of the most influential shifts in the industry, alongside Matthieu Blazy’s arrival at Chanel.
Other notable debuts include Julian Klausner’s menswear collection for Dries Van Noten and the first Paris show by Indian label Kartik Research. Fashion Week will culminate with Jacquemus, setting the stage for a transformative Haute Couture Week beginning July 7. Dior will skip the latter, as Anderson’s couture debut is scheduled for January 2026, while Balenciaga and Maison Margiela will present key collections under new creative leadership.
