Lee and Indian Motorcycle Launch Selvedge Denim Capsule Collection
Lee has launched a new menswear capsule collection in collaboration with Indian Motorcycle, marking the motorcycle brand’s 125th anniversary. The collection combines heritage denim craftsmanship with motorcycle-inspired styling, drawing on Lee’s archival designs and the shared American heritage of both brands.
The collection features iconic pieces, including the Lee Rider jacket and 101Z Rider jeans, crafted from Italian selvedge denim sourced from Candiani Mills and available in raw and black washes.
Other offerings include a herringbone Union-Alls jumpsuit, a chambray 101 workshirt and heavyweight graphic T-shirts. Custom hardware, co-branded details and embroidery featuring Indian Motorcycle’s headdress badge add distinctive touches to the collection. According to Lee Senior Director of Global Design Sedgwick Cole Jr, the collaboration celebrates the dual meaning of the Original Rider, representing both motorcycle enthusiasts and Lee’s iconic denim silhouettes.
Indian Motorcycle CEO Mike Kennedy said the partnership reflects the brands’ shared values of craftsmanship, individuality and adventure. The Lee 101 x Indian Motorcycle collection is available on Lee’s US and European websites, at its owned retail stores in Europe and at the Bike Shed Moto Co. shop in Los Angeles, which hosted a private launch event.
